The collection

Not prints, not tinted resin: real stone, selected and composed into slabs, to be cut and installed like marble. Some are translucent and can be backlit: with light behind them they change character completely.

Architects and designers: every slab is made to measure, with 3D design, CNC cutting and finishing in the workshop. Claddings, worktops, backlit walls, one-off pieces. In the Volargne workshop you can touch them for real.

Blue agate

Agate geodes cut and composed into a slab. Translucent: backlit, it reveals the concentric bands of the crystal.
Amethyst

Purple quartz crystals composed into a slab. Translucent, suited to backlit walls and worktops.
Lapis lazuli

Deep blue with golden pyrite veins. Opaque, polished to a mirror finish for striking surfaces.
Malachite

Green with concentric bands, the most recognisable of ornamental stones. Opaque, for surfaces and inlays.
Tiger's eye

Golden and brown fibres whose sheen shifts with the light and the viewing angle. Opaque.
Wild mother of pearl

Natural mother of pearl in irregular tesserae, iridescent. For claddings and decorative surfaces.
Black and white agate

Agate in black and white bands, sharp contrast. Translucent, can be backlit.
Brown agate

Agate in brown and amber tones with pale geodes. Translucent, can be backlit.
Labradorite

Dark grey with blue and green flashes that appear as you move in front of the slab. Opaque.
Petrified wood

Fossilised wood cut in section: the grain is the tree's, the hardness is stone. Opaque.
Black fossil stone

Black stone with fossils in section and pale veins. Opaque, for dark surfaces with character.
Red jasper and sodalite

Geometric inlay of red jasper and blue sodalite: two opaque stones cut and composed to a pattern.
